Terms & Conditions
Outcomes That Matter. The work Veradigm customers do supports real patients and real practices. This community exists to strengthen that work. Ask questions. Share what works. Help each other deliver better care and run better practices.
Better Starts With Different. Every perspective is welcome here, from solo practices to large health systems, from clinical staff to administrators. The more voices in this community, the stronger it becomes.
Veradigm holds this space to Unreasonably High Standards: the same bar we hold ourselves to. These guidelines protect every member and make honest, productive conversation possible.
How We Expect Members to Engage
- Be respectful. Disagree with ideas, not people. Posts that personally attack, harass, or target individuals based on race, gender, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics are not permitted.
- Be accurate about who you are. Do not misrepresent your professional credentials, certifications, role, or organizational affiliation. Do not share misinformation or misrepresent Veradigm products. If you are uncertain about something, say so. If you work for a technology vendor, including Veradigm, disclose that relationship when discussing or recommending products.
- Stay relevant. Keep discussions focused on Veradigm products, healthcare operations, and related topics. Discussion of healthcare regulation, federal and state policy affecting clinical practice, and patient care standards is welcome. Partisan political content unrelated to healthcare, unsolicited promotions, and off-topic material are not appropriate.
- No spam. Do not post the same content multiple times or share promotional links not relevant to this community's purpose.
- No NSFW content. This is a professional community. Explicit, graphic, or otherwise inappropriate content is not permitted.
- No copyright violations. Do not post content you do not have permission to share, including third-party screenshots, excerpts from paywalled sources, or unlicensed images.
- No duplicate accounts. Register and use a single account. Do not create multiple accounts or use another member's account.
- No commercial solicitation. Do not use this community to advertise, sell, or recruit for products, services, or programs unrelated to Veradigm or this community's purpose.
- No illegal content. Do not post content that violates applicable law, including stolen material, counterfeit goods, or content that facilitates illegal activity.
- Keep moderation discussions private. If you disagree with a moderation decision, use the appeals process described in Moderation and Accountability rather than debating it in a public post or thread.
Protecting Patient Privacy
This is a professional forum, not a clinical environment.
Do not post any information about specific patients, including names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, diagnoses, treatment details, or any other information that could identify a patient, even if names are removed. HIPAA's Safe Harbor de-identification standard does not make patient information safe to share in a public forum; research has shown that combining quasi-identifiers such as age, gender, geographic area, and date of service with publicly available data can re-identify patients. This is both a community rule and a HIPAA requirement.
Do not upload screenshots, reports, or files that contain patient data. Review all EMR screenshots carefully before posting to confirm all patient-identifiable information is fully obscured.
All members must comply with HIPAA, applicable state privacy laws, and the 21st Century Cures Act information blocking rules. This community may not be used to seek or provide advice on practices that would violate these regulations.
If you see a post that appears to contain patient information, flag it immediately rather than responding to it.
No Kickbacks or Improper Remuneration
This community may not be used to offer, solicit, or arrange any form of compensation, benefit, or remuneration, including discounts, referrals, or recognition, in exchange for referrals of patients, services, or products covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or other federal healthcare programs. Such arrangements may violate the federal Anti-Kickback Statute (42 U.S.C. § 1320a-7b(b)) regardless of intent.
Patient Safety Discussions
If you have concerns about a product behavior that may affect patient safety, those concerns should be directed to Veradigm through official support channels. Veradigm may, at its discretion, initiate a patient safety review in response to concerns raised. This community is not the appropriate venue for reporting patient safety issues, and such reports may be removed and redirected to the appropriate Veradigm team.
How Moderation Works
This community may use automated tools to assist with content review. Posts may be screened by an AI-powered safety filter for harmful content categories and may also be reviewed by an AI agent trained on this Code of Conduct, which may classify posts as approved, pending human review, or removed. Human moderators make all final decisions and may reverse any automated determination at any time. Automated review tools may be modified, supplemented, or discontinued at Veradigm's discretion.
Moderation and Accountability
Make Decisions and Own Them. When you post in this community, you are responsible for what you share. Think before you post, and stand behind what you say.
No Silos, No Handoffs. This community belongs to all of us. If you see something that violates these guidelines, flag it. Do not wait for someone else to act.
Veradigm reserves the right to remove content, issue warnings, suspend, or permanently remove accounts at its sole discretion. Actions may include content removal with private notification, a formal warning, temporary suspension, or permanent removal. Veradigm is not required to follow these steps in sequence and may escalate directly to suspension or removal for serious violations.
Appeals. If your content is removed or your account is suspended, you may contact community@veradigm.com. All decisions regarding community participation are made at Veradigm's sole discretion.
Your Content
By posting in this community, you grant Veradigm a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, moderate, archive, and promote your content, including for marketing and promotional purposes. Veradigm may attribute quotes to you by name and role. If you do not wish your content to be used in this way, contact community@veradigm.com.
Liability for Community Content
Information shared in this community reflects the views and experiences of individual members, not the official guidance of Veradigm. Veradigm does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of anything posted here. Any decisions you make based on community content are at your own risk. This community is not a substitute for official Veradigm support channels, your practice's clinical judgment, or applicable regulatory guidance.
Veradigm is not engaged in the practice of medicine, and nothing in this community is a substitute for the independent professional judgment of a qualified healthcare provider. Your practice retains full and sole responsibility for the care of your patients. Discussion of healthcare regulation, policy, or compliance topics in this community is not legal or regulatory advice and does not create an attorney-client or other advisory relationship with Veradigm.

A status label, and any discussion, feedback, or engagement from Veradigm on an idea, is not a commitment that Veradigm will build, ship, or maintain any specific feature. Submitting an idea, receiving a response, or discussing a request with Veradigm does not create an agreement or obligation of any kind. Priorities and timelines may change or be discontinued at any time without notice. This community is not Veradigm's official product roadmap.
